Dear Jervois plays up the contrast between vintage, industrial and contemporary to beautiful effect
One of my fave bits - this light-box steals the show for me.
Lightbox centrefold (heart eyes)
Soft and hard, pretty and patina
Botanics and fresh flowers always (especially loved the ones in the big amber apothecary vessels)
The recipe for this dish (Dear Jervois' Be Good Vegan) is included in our story in the latest Taste magazine
Best small cafe bathroom I've seen in ages.
Dear Jervois, I am in love with you. I'm in love with your interior (designed by owner David Lee) - the massive old factory lights, the exposed plaster and brick wall, and the floral and botanic bouquets on every table that David's wife styles fresh every few days. I'm in love with the contrast at play here - vintage patinas and pastel-painted chairs, against a huge section of gloss black subway tiles with flashes of shiny copper piping. I'm in love with how completely unpretentious you are, and I'm in love with your divinely presented food. Style and substance, guys - go visit x
