One of most loved, most inspirational houses I've ever had the pleasure of visiting is the home of the Pyne family. One of the original farmhouses of Mount Maunganui, it's been renovated, extended out and up, and decorated over the past 5 years or so by Stacey Pyne, mumma and seriously skilled hunter of vintage and industrial treasures.
Last year, Stacey realised she was running out of space to decorate, so she decided to open her own little store - Dusty - filled with all her best finds, for your place! The Dusty store is actually a room in the Pyne's awesome home, a tiny space filled to burst with goodies, open by appointment each Thursday. Stacey's also just opened the Dusty online store. I've already bagsed the Tiger pillowcase, just sayin'.

Yip, these are the golden days...

I L.O.V.E that they left the scrapyard writing on this old door. Best thing ever.
Stacey has finished collecting things to decorate her place, and now, with Dusty, she's collecting things to decorate yours - including lots of vintage cushions like these ones.

PART II, TOMORROW -
the Pyne's family room, freakin' cool nautical/hunting lodge-inspired stairwell, kids' bedrooms and... DUSTY - a tiny shop full of treasures (yes, you can visit and buy goodies!) inside Stacey's home.
