Sola Rosa are cooler than cool. (I really need better adjectives). Their new track 'Humanised' is the feet-tappingest, jazziest, smokingest little number i've heard in years. I can't help Chair Dancing while listening to it. Go on, play it, you'll love it.
I love the Day of the Dead art direction of the music video so much that I googled the Director, Tim van Dammen. Thanks Internets. Turns out, Tim makes music videos for plenty of New Zealand artists (usually for under $5,000, woah) - and his concepts and execution are currently kicking larger production companies asses! Tim recently won the 2009 VNZMA for Best Music Video for another music video for Sola Rosa (the very addictive 'Turn Around').
